In 1915, the Hurliman family came from Switzerland, cleared 160 acres of Tillamook bottomland, and helped build the co-op that their family has been farmer-owners of ever since.
Four generations later, Nick runs the farm with his son Kenny – the fifth in line.
One generation teaches the next to care for the cows, respect the land, and make the best dairy you can. It’s hard work but it’s not complicated. Reverence for what they do and for each other is exactly why it lasts.
