This week, our trainees had the privilege of being invited to The Joyce Theater to watch the Arpino Dance Festival dress rehearsal, a meaningful opportunity to experience the power of live performance and the legacy of Gerald Arpino up close.⁠ ⁠ From the moment they stepped into the theater, the students were surrounded by artistry, history, and excellence.⁠ ⁠ We are deeply grateful to The Gerald Arpino Foundation, The Joyce Theater, and Dean Meg Paul, repetiteur of Valentine, performed by Fabrice Calmels, Emily Speedy, and bassist Kebra-Seyoun Charles, for welcoming our students into the space and allowing them to witness the rehearsal in such an intimate setting.
