Today, we honor the life and legacy of Miss Major Griffin-Gracy β€” a beloved elder, activist, and revolutionary leader in the TLGBQ liberation movement β€” who passed away on October 13, 2025. For more than fifty years, Miss Major fought fearlessly for Black trans women, incarcerated trans people, and those living at the intersections of oppression. From her role in the Stonewall uprising to her work with the TGI Justice Project and the founding of the House of GG, she built spaces of healing, empowerment, and love for those too often left out of the conversation.
