Join us on Wednesday, October 15, from 6:30โ€“8:30 p.m. for a special screening of MAJOR! โ€” the award-winning documentary that chronicles the life and legacy of Miss Major Griffin-Gracy, a Black transgender elder, activist, and community leader. ๐ŸŒˆ From her role in the Stonewall uprising to her decades of advocacy in transgender rights and prison abolition, Miss Majorโ€™s story is one of resilience, resistance, and radical love. This powerful film is both a tribute to her impact and a call to continue the work she has championed for generations. As Miss Major is currently in hospice care, we hold her in our thoughts and send love to her and her community during this time. โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน This event is hosted by Penn State University Libraries, Womenโ€™s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity, and co-sponsored by the Restorative Justice Initiative, and QTPOC student group. ๐Ÿ“ Foster Auditorium, 102 Paterno Library ๐Ÿ“ Wednesday, October 15 ๐Ÿ“ 6:30โ€“8:30 p.m. #...
