I found my new favorite Italian restaurant in the East Village and their menu is totally gluten free!! That’s right, an Italian dinner without the guilt and heaviness of traditional Italian. The owner and his family have over 20 years of experience and cultivate/process all the rice that goes into these dishes from their farm in Italy! 🇮🇹 This particular rice is very rare here in the states as it is grown directly by the Melotti family in Isola della Scala, in the low plain of Verona, over the centuries an extraordinary area for the cultivation of the best Italian rice varieties.
