Being mixed was challenging as a kid growing up. Living as a military brat that traveled places every 2-4 years I never felt like I belonged. Then being mixed made it harder to connect to any race. Now that I’m older I appreciate all the challenges I had to face to learn my real place is within myself and that I’m so lucky to be a multitude of various races that make me, me.
