Get in sky watcher, we’re going to spot the station🤩⁣ ⁣ The International Space Station (iss) is often visible as it passes overhead from several thousand worldwide locations – one of these may be your hometown! It is the third brightest object in the sky and easy to spot if you know when to look up. Get email or text alerts when the space station is flying over by registering at spotthestation.nasa.gov.⁣ ⁣ The space station looks like an airplane or a very bright star moving across the sky, except it doesn't have flashing lights or change direction. It will also be moving considerably faster than a typical airplane (airplanes generally fly at about 600 miles (965 km) per hour; the space station flies at 17,500 miles (28,000 km) per hour) an hour. In this photograph, the International Space Station is captured in a 30 second exposure as it flies over Elkton, VA.⁣ ⁣ Located along the U.S. East Coast? You are in for a treat:⁣ ⁣ Sky watchers may see the ISS shortly before 8pm ET tonight,...
