Our voices are being heard, but the work isn’t done yet.
The Center on Colfax continues to stand with Jax Gratton’s loved ones in calling for the establishment of an independent oversight committee to ensure Jax’s passing is fully investigated.
When you show up to support Justice for Jax, you’re also showing up for yourself, your neighbors, and your community. Together, we stand against the broader epidemic of hostility and dehumanization of trans and gender diverse people.
We invite our community to join us in packing the Lakewood City Council meeting on Monday, August 25 at 6:30 PM (480 S Allison Parkway, Lakewood). Attendees are encouraged to wear purple clothing and butterflies in honor of Jax.
If you cannot make the meeting, we encourage you to email
citycouncilmembers@lakewood.org and call Jefferson County Commissioners to express concerns at
303-271-8525.
Justice for Jax. Now.
