We joined the OutdoorsAllianceforKids (OAK) and our Buddy Bison students from St. Francis Xavier Catholic Academy for an exciting kickoff event at Yards Marina in Washington, DC, where each fourth-grader received their Every Kid Outdoors pass. Students explored local waterways by boat with the Living Classrooms Foundation, learned from National Park Service rangers through interactive land stations, and met big Buddy Bison himself. They look forward to using their pass to gain free access to federal public lands and waters for an entire year once the sites reopen.
