#AD Today is Purple Thursday 💜 A day to remember that courage comes in many forms, and a day that holds deep meaning for me as we raise awareness during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Through my partnership with Purina’s Purple Leash Project, I’ve learned that nearly half of domestic abuse survivors delay leaving because they can’t take their pets with them. That’s a choice no one should have to make.   Animals are lifelines. They know when we’re hurting, when we need comfort, and they love us unconditionally. For survivors, pets often provide the safety and comfort that are essential ingredients in healing. Thanks to the Purple Leash Project with redroverorg, we’re helping domestic violence shelters across the country become pet-friendly.
