Last year alone, disasters affected over 146 million people. Both developed and developing countries are impacted by disasters. It’s the most vulnerable who are hit the hardest. The Disaster Law treaty, agreed by the UN last December, can change that by making sure everyone is protected in disasters. On this International Risk Reduction Day, the IFRC strengthens the need on more investment on disaster risk reduction efforts. #DRRDay
