Inspiring the next generation of Commonwealth leaders! The recent eqUIP Workshop in Zambia, bringing together young leaders from Africa and Europe, highlighted the incredible opportunities these programmes offer for emerging talent across the Commonwealth. These experiences provide the interns with life-changing opportunities — from developing leadership skills and building international networks, to gaining hands-on experience in sport. We are especially proud of Team Wales’ involvement, supporting interns from the very start of the programme. Our current intern and student at Cardiff Metropolitan University, Brodie Alexander, under the leadership of Head of Engagement Cathy Williams, has been an outstanding example for Wales.
