Here is a little piece of history, literally, that I found recently. This ticket stub is from a Southern Conference game between The College of William and Mary Indians (now the Tribe) and the N.C. State Wolfpack that took place on October 26, 1945. The game was played at Foreman Field (now Kornblau Field, home of the Old Dominion Monarchs) in Norfolk, Virginia. W&M lost the contest, 6-20 to N.C. State in front of a crowd of 15,000, but went on to a 6-3 season record including wins over Virginia Tech (VPI), Maryland, and Richmond.
