The Berkeley Police Department, or BPD, announced the arrests of two people suspected of targeting women for a series of home invasions across Berkeley on Friday.
The robberies and home invasions were allegedly a joint effort between Albert Decoto and his girlfriend. The invasions occurred throughout the city between Sept. 17 and Oct. 1, according to BPD Public Information Officer Jessica Perry.
As of press time, BPD has potentially connected the suspects to three documented home invasions and three residential burglaries, according to Perry.
