This #WhereAmIWednesday, we're in South Africa with Austin! Austin is a fourth-year political science major who spent part of his summer interning in Cape Town through the Mundt Peace Scholarship program. "I enjoyed hearing new perspectives while I was conducting interviews for a local NGO. Both of my host families in Langa and Bo-Kaap were so welcoming, and I loved spending time with them. Group activities like visiting Robben Island and hiking Lion's Head mountain were unforgettable. In my free time, I was able to see local art and history museums, the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Muizenberg Beach, and a lot more. I'm so grateful to the Mundt family, review committee, Global Education, and SIT for this amazing opportunity!"
