Very sad day for the entire music community… 😔 D’Angelo tragically passed away today at the age of 51 from a private battle with pancreatic cancer. His musical genius influenced so many of our favorite artists, like Tyler, the Creator, Kendrick Lamar, and many more. He was apparently in the middle of working on a new album, according to longtime collaborator Raphael Saadiq, who said he was in a good space and working on approximately 6 new tracks that he was excited about. It’s unclear whether or not we’ll ever get to hear it now.
