This morning words truly escape me. We woke up at sunrise to photograph the iconic St. Thomas Church at sunrise on our fall color trip across Europe and man. We got that and more! As we were driving up, we nervously waited to see if we’d punch through the cloud inversion or if we’d get skunked out due to dense fog when all of a sudden, out popped the landscape and the rest was history. The skies lit up with moody Oranges and Blues just soft enough to really make the landscape pop, as the bright white church shines above the rest of the village with the Slovenian Alps loom high above.
