There was another car accident in the intersection tonight. 6th Ave & 8th ST SW. Someone commented on Facebook that they witnessed it, and they're actually in this video and they said evening was okay, other than one person had a bit of a bruised leg. Both airbags deployed. I don't know how it happened. Video started about 5 seconds after it happened. The horn was on until the Calgary Fire Department showed up and disabled it (about 2 minutes later). They had the intersection closed for a bit afterwards. There seems to be an accident here every 1-2 months. The guys who have been doing construction on 8th street will be in for a bit of a surprise tomorrow. The construction has been kind of ridiculous lately, many roads in the area being worked on, redirected, closed, down to single lane, etc. #Calgary #downtowncalgary #yyctraffic
