We went to dorneyparkpr and Wildwater Kingdom last weekend, and I’m just going to go ahead and say that this is the golden age for taking your kids to an amusement park. They carry all their own stuff, they still like hanging out with family, and they’re tall enough to ride all the good rides, but also old enough to hang out by the exit if they don’t want to go on the ridiculously scary looking roller coaster with you. Also – they get just as excited about the rides as they do about the food options— we had fries, chicken fingers, funnel cake, and pulled pork with lemonade and cocacola slushes. We seriously had the best time. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard as when we rode Thunder Canyon thinking we’d maybe get splashed a few times and ended up getting completely drenched with waterfall after waterfall unleashing directly into our boat. We would’ve been more dry if we had all jumped into their new wave pool fully clothed. Harlow and Mazzy loved the Thunderhawk wooden coaster so...
