I like to think that you saw my heart and picked me to be your mommy. You knew that I would forever have your back & do everything in my power to protect you. You gave us a little scare & watching you in pain was the worst feeling in the world. I would have given everything to simply take your place. This was our first experience of you being hospitalized, I pray it’s the last. Our reality is that we have to prepare ourselves that this may happen time to time.
