💖 Come on Barbie, let’s go party! 💖 As is the rest of the world, we here at the Beinecke are super excited about the Barbie movie! This is the 1962 children’s book, Barbie’s New York Summer, written by Cynthia Lawrence. The book follows Barbie Roberts and her adventures to win a contest to get on the cover of the Teen Journal. She also faces the challenges of the love triangle between Ken, her childhood love, and her New York neighbor who happens to be a millionaire, Pablo.
