WIMNA Charlotte Chapter Student Invitational The WIMNA Charlotte Chapter welcomed college students and industry pros to Charlotte Motor Speedway this afternoon for an energizing Student Invitational that blended learning, access, and community. Attendees kicked off with a curated garage tour led by Raegan Moody, engineer at JR Motorsports, who walked students through car prep, roles on race day, and pathways into technical careers. From there, guests headed to a suite to take in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck action, swap stories, and make connections over snacks and beverages. Throughout the afternoon, students met engineers, team members, and leaders from across the Charlotte motorsports scene—turning quick introductions into real conversations about internships, hiring timelines, and how to translate classroom skills to the pit lane.
