The current art traffic control crisis impacting Newark is a reminder that we need a complete overhaul of ATC in the US. Until then, here are my tips 1) in the short term- avoid Newark if possible 2) if you have a ticket through Newark, United is allowing free changes on all flights through May 17 3) if you’re flying later in the year — check your reservation to make sure your flight hasn’t been canceled or changed as United is reducing capacity at EWR 4) contact your elected officials and let them know you expect them to support an ATC overhaul in the US. #travel #newark #airport #airtraffic
