Our Day 2 NICU update feels a little like two steps forward, one step back. The amazing news is that our little fighter is showing great improvement with his breathing and is slowly being weaned off oxygen support, which we’re so happy about. We hit a new hurdle with a possible infection that’s now being treated with antibiotics, but he is strong and we’re staying positive. In other wonderful news, our incredible surrogate was discharged from the hospital today, and we officially have the first legal document we need to bring our son home. It’s an emotional rollercoaster, but we’re learning to take it one hour at a time. Thank you all for the love and prayers.
