Like any parent, we have worries when it comes to raising our kids. A few of ours are more specific to raising our kids as a two mom family who used a donor. Things that worry us as a two mom family - What if the twins want to connect with the donor when they’re older, but the donor isn’t interested? - How will they feel about having so many donor siblings? - Will they be bullied for having two moms? - Will they feel left out with the lack of representation of families like ours in shows and movies? - Will they feel like they missed out on anything because they didn’t have a dad? But one thing we don’t worry about is how loved and wanted our children feel. They’re surrounded by people who love them and are happy, healthy kids who are thriving in every way.
