No. 4 Texas A&M stayed unbeaten with a 45–42 shootout win over Arkansas, improving to 7–0 (4–0 SEC) — the Aggies’ best start since 1994.
Marcel Reed shone with 280 passing yards, three touchdowns, and 55 rushing yards plus a score. He led a late 66-yard drive capped by Reuben Owens II’s 12-yard touchdown run to seal the win. Owens, filling in for Le’Veon Moss, added 69 yards and two scores as A&M’s offense piled up 497 total yards.
Arkansas battled behind Taylen Green (256 passing yards, three TDs; 89 rushing yards, two TDs) and Mike Washington’s 147 rushing yards, but the Aggies recovered an onside kick in the final seconds to close it out — their 13th win in the last 14 meetings.
