#TerrierTuesdays: Meet Helen Lallos-Harrell (bu_cas ’27)! Originally from Oak Park, Illinois, Helen’s transition to BU was nontraditional as she was accepted as a guaranteed transfer student. She felt it was daunting at first to arrive in Boston, but she was able to find her way by taking advantage of the University’s array of student clubs and organizations. Helen chose BU for its strong academic reputation, research programs, and its location in the city of Boston. She is a junior double-majoring in political science and economics. Helen was initially a biology major, but she discovered a love for public services during her first year of college and decided to follow a different path. On campus, she is the Vice President of Community Affairs for CAS Student Government (cas_stugov). She also serves as the Vice President of Operations for Kappa Alpha Theta (thetabostonu).
