We rebuilt the RB’s cooling system from the ground up — not just bigger lines, but smarter flow.
Each pair of cylinders (1&2, 3&4, 5&6) now has its own bleed line coming directly from the exhaust-side coolant galleries. Those lines merge into a common stainless manifold that routes to the swirl pot, constantly purging air pockets and keeping flow balanced across the entire head.
This isn’t about chasing lower temps — it’s about stabilizing them. The head now sees consistent flow front to back, no trapped steam pockets, no pressure spikes, and no hot-cylinder bias.
On track, temps rose like they should under load — but stayed steady. Pressure stayed linear, recovery was instant, and the car no longer heat-soaks or fights itself between laps.
It’s a small system doing big work — and it finally made the RB behave like it should. 🔧🔥
