⚠️ HAPPENING NOW: Flooding in Corporate Area as Jamaica placed under Tropical Storm Watch Heavy rains have triggered flooding across sections of the Corporate Area this afternoon, with reports of impassable roads in Arcadia, Russell Heights and Birdsucker Lane. Motorists are being urged to avoid flooded areas and exercise extreme caution. At the same time, the Meteorological Service of Jamaica has issued a Tropical Storm Watch for the island, as a developing weather system in the central Caribbean Sea is expected to strengthen into a tropical storm within 48 hours. The system is currently producing winds up to 72 km/h (45 mph).
