Reigning Horse of the Year THORPEDO ANNA and her best pal, Cooper 🄰 The seven-time Grade I-winning champion, who won 12 of 16 starts including 10 stakes, is officially retired and will start her new chapter as a broodmare. The news was announced Wednesday, Oct.15. She will call John Sikura’s Hill ā€˜n’ Dale Farms at Xalapa near Paris, Ky., home, though a decision regarding who she will be bred to has not yet been made and will not be until after the Breeders’ Cup. Additionally, a 20% share in the champion filly will be offered at the upcoming Keeneland Championship Sale at Del Mar on Oct. 29.
