We’ve been making dive watches since the 1960s and innovating on professional dive watches is one of our favourite things to do. Always, we ask the question: what do divers need? Here’s our latest answer, the Aquis Pro 1000M. As the name suggests, its headline feature is water resistance to 100 bar, or 1,000 metres. It’s super legible, too, thanks to its 49.50 mm lightweight titanium case, wide open dial and lumed elements. The crown is screwed down, with protectors either side, and it comes on a rubber strap with a quick adjustment clasp. But its signature function is its Rotation Safety System, or RSS. Designed and patented by Oris, it locks the bezel in place so it can’t be accidentally altered during a dive. That’s innovation with purpose. #oris #aquis #aquispro
