Colorado will see its first widespread freeze early Sunday. 🥶 The 9NEWS Weather Impact Team said most of eastern Colorado will see below-freezing temperatures Saturday night. Widespread frost will also be possible in the immediate Denver and Boulder metro areas. The coldest night of the season could end the growing season with a killing freeze for lows as low as 23 on the eastern plains. Residents should cover up any sensitive plants or bring them inside.
