The girls and I spent the day at nyphilharmonic Young People’s Concerts and had the best time! This concert series is for families who particularly may not go to the philharmonic often as it’s the perfect kid-friendly introduction to classical music. An hour prior to the concert they have tons of special activities where kids can meet musicians, play an assortment of instruments and do crafts. There’s a storytelling and Chill Out room there for kids to take a break during these activities as well as access them during the concert if they need a bit of a break. The YPC series celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2024, and their goal is to inspire a love for music while creating core memories for children and families.
