There’s no question that my lifestyle, including the time I spend on screens, may be playing a role in my journey with dry eye, an increasingly common condition that impacts approximately 150 million U.S. adults. A new survey conducted by the eye care experts at BauschLomb found that dry eye can be challenging to manage and may impact daily activities like working, driving, reading, watching TV, and spending time on electronic devices. In fact, 12% of dry eye sufferers indicated that they think about their eyes 10 times a day or more!
