Brooklyn Goes Pink. It was exactly the type of evening you love to experience as a fan… one where the real spectacle isn’t really the play on the field, but the community uniting for something greater. And you could feel something special in the air at Coney Island.
On Saturday night, brooklynwfootballclub held its second annual Pink Game in collaboration with the American Cancer Society. Eager fans from all over New York turned up to Maimonides Park to honor the breast cancer survivors who were invited to the game, as well as support in the fundraising efforts by ACS. An all-women Brazilian drum line, a fun tailgate in the afternoon, and limited edition shirts and kits rounded out an amazing second year for this event.
