Nolan’s very first movie theater experience and we watched Lilo & Stitch 🌺💙! I had no idea how he’d react, but I definitely didn’t expect him to sit through the whole movie. I came fully prepared with his iPad, headphones, snacks, a blanket, and some toys. I also made sure to book seats in a theater that wasn’t too crowded. I know there are sensory friendly showings, but I wanted him to try it on a regular day. And to my surprise, he mostly sat through it all! He stimmed, babbled a bit, and played with the seat buttons (of course 😂). I didn’t even have to take out the iPad!
