Meet Joe Krauss, Assistant Snowmaking Manager at Mount Snow! Joe brings years of experience to the mountain from five seasons as a groomer and snowmaker in Pennsylvania to leading our Snowmaking Maintenance team, and now helping drive the entire snowmaking operation here at Mount Snow. Joe works closely with our Snow Services team to bring our snowmaking plans to life, and he loves seeing the results out on the hill, especially on Timbers, his favorite spot to make snow. As a former ski racer, Joe’s passion for the mountains started young, and when he's not on the clock, you'll find him carving down Gulch. For Joe, the best part of snowmaking season is watching the mountain turn white and seeing all the little kids learn to ski for the first time. He says it best: “We’re a working family up here.” 💪
