EAGLES EDGE LIONS: With the Trinity League title on the line, the jserra_boys_water_polo team and rival Santa Margarita engaged in a tense, back-and-forth struggle on Wednesday, with the Eagles holding off the Lions by a score of 11-10 in the regular season finale at JSerra Catholic High School. JSerra closes out the regular season with a record of 18-10 and finishes second in league with a 4-1 mark. In front of a packed crowd at the JSerra Aquatics Center on Senior Day, first period goals from senior Connor Colman and freshman Sasha Bjelica propelled the Lions to a 2-2 tie at the end of the first period. Junior Joe Wraith found the back of the net with 3:41 left in the second period to tie the contest at 3-3, but Santa Margarita produced two goals in the final 3:02 of the first half and claimed a 5-3 halftime.
