Temple Station Deputies Join Forces for Red Ribbon Week! Today, Temple Station deputies teamed up with our partners from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Transit Services Bureau, Aero Bureau, the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol to visit Emper Elementary School for Red Ribbon Week. Students were treated to an exciting morning — trying on tactical gear, checking out fire trucks, watching CHP officers demonstrate their motorcycles, and meeting the men and women who serve their community every day. Events like these are a fun and meaningful way to remind our youth about the importance of making good choices and saying no to drugs. Red Ribbon Week is about encouraging kids to live healthy, drug-free lives and showing them that our law enforcement and first responder partners are here to support them every step of the way.
