Is this going to kill Netflix? Now for anyone who doesn’t know — an AI streaming service is a platform that uses AI to make movies and tv. No cameras, no sets, no actors… just a guy with a pc. 🧍‍♂️💻 ✅ Now the real threat to Netflix, HBO, Hulu, etc is the cost to put movies and tv on their platform is MASSIVE (well over 1 billion per year). They have to buy the rights (not cheap) OR actually make tv and movies themselves (definitely not cheap). On the other hand an AI streaming service like Fable pays NOTHING to make their movies and tv 🤯. Users generate the content for them and this leads to a basically infinite supply (think total number of posts on Instagram levels of infinite). Ultimately if the content becomes better it might start to dig into Netflix’s sub count. 🪦 🌹 Now for a looong time, I believe human creativity and storytelling are going to stay invaluable.
