I just picked up the $4,000 M3 MacBook Pro… let’s find out if it was worth. Now to be fair there’s no way it’s worth, but the specs are still pretty dope. The new M3 Max cpu, a discrete 30 core GPU, 36 gigs of ram (weird I know), and 1 tb of ssd storage. Now in terms of who I would recommend this to, it’s basically only people doing high resolution video editing, VFX work, or something like that. There’s really no need for specs like this and MacBooks are notoriously mediocre for gaming. NOW for science we are going to compare this thing to a $2,000 fairly high high end Samsung Galaxy Laptop and see how they compare.
