I rediscovered a hidden gem from my childhood gaming days: this weird noise that plays on the idle screen of the og Xbox. It’s kind of insane how a simple sound effect can take you back like that. As a kid, I would listen to it for way too long, trying to figure out what it was all about. Now we know it’s something the devs put in to make the system seem more futuristic.
