This game takes 400 days to complete and it is awesome. It’s called The Longing and it’s one of my favorite indie games. The game is a little sad, but it’s so unique and interesting it’s worth downloading. The story is you play as a lonely Shade, the last servant of a king who once ruled an underground kingdom. The king’s powers have faded and he falls asleep for 400 days to regain his might. It is your duty to stay in the earthen palace until he awakens. Now don’t panic — as soon as you start, the game counts down the 400 days - even when you stop playing and exit the game. While you’re down in the cave waiting for the 400 days there’s a lot to do. You can explore the caves and collect items for your underground living room. You can read tons of classic literature from Nietzsche to Moby Dick right in the game - or at least have the shade read them. And my favorite, you can ignore the king’s commands and venture to the outer regions the cave. It will be a long and dangerous journey int...
