Shots were fired outside Serbia’s parliament building in Belgrade on Wednesday, leaving one person injured, according to local media reports.
Footage published by the NOVA outlet — whose location was verified by Reuters — showed armed security officers advancing toward a large tent set up outside the parliament complex.
Moments later, gunfire was heard, followed by a fire that broke out inside the tent.
The tent was among several erected earlier this year by supporters of President Aleksandar Vučić during ongoing anti-government demonstrations.
The source of the gunfire and the cause of the blaze remain unclear. Local police have not issued any comment.
