Last week, our staff traveled to Washington D.C. for the annual College Media Association Pinnacle Awards. Of the 27 nominations, The Roar won 1️⃣1️⃣ first place awards, 9️⃣ second place awards, 2️⃣ third place awards and 5️⃣ honorable mentions. The Roar was also recognized for having the best Media Website of the Year out of all Division III institutions, a huge accomplishment for the institution and Mass Communications department.
