The Economic Development Department is primarily tasked with attracting and retaining businesses, along with encouraging private sector capital investment. Additional areas of focus include Downtown Redevelopment, Marketing, Tourism, and Research Analysis. Our Development Services team keeps Apache Junction growing safely and beautifully- guiding citizens and developers through the city’s planning, permitting, and inspection processes, maintains zoning standards, ensures safety and compliance, and supports community beautification efforts, including public art installations.
