Earlier this month, the SEDA-COG Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and Penn College hosted another successful Chainsaw Safety & Maintenance Training at the Penn College classroom and field site at Montgomery. Eight attendees from municipal maintenance crews in the SEDA-COG region received morning classroom instruction on using chainsaws in a safe manner, followed by an afternoon field session in Penn College’s woodlot where trees were safely felled.
