I always take a (literal) page out of @ruthwhippman “Boy Mom” (highly recommend) where in the process of raising boys to be empathetic, emotionally intelligent, feminist, and so on…there are constant fumbles. She says it can’t be done perfectly, but when you understand what needs to change in society - you allow that to guide you.
