The job isn’t finished yet, of course, but a tremendous degree of pride already permeates Gorton boys soccer as the playoffs approach. Them looking at the Section 1 tournament brackets with a smile is a bit like a construction crew taking a step back to admire a structure after the foundation is laid. Sure, plenty of work remains, but there is an appreciation of the heavy lifting that was done.
