How dare she. For some reason, lately I’ve felt so much resentment about my 6 week leave in 2016 after my first was born. If I had not returned to work, I would have lost my job- that wasn’t an option for me. I hope that fades down the line, but I gave up a lot which I’ll never get back. But, 8 years later, not much has changed for new mothers in this country. So we continue to talk about it. We continue to share our stories (even if it feels like a broken record) We continue to advocate.
